Sparebanken Møre ended 2021 strongly and delivered one of its best fourth quarter results ever. The full year saw a 13.2 per cent improvement in profit compared with 2020.
Sparebanken Møre continues to develop positively and has delivered its second best third quarter ever. The Board of Directors has also decided to pay out an additional dividend based on the financial year 2020.
Sparebanken Møre continues to strengthen its market share in our market area Nordvestlandet. In the past 12 months, the bank has increased its lending by approximately NOK 4 billion, which represents lending growth of 6.2 per cent.
Sparebanken Møre ended the first quarter with increased profitability and cost-effectiveness. The bank has also strengthened its focus within several income areas.
Sparebanken Møre leaves behind a year of high activity and strengthened market position. The preliminary financial figures for 2020 show an annual profit after tax of NOK 567 million, compared with NOK 711 million for 2019.
